STEVENSON is proud to present Hot Mirror, a selection of works by Viviane Sassen.

Sassen, a longtime Amsterdam resident, is one of the most influential photographers working today. In 2017, The Hepworth Wakefield museum invited her to examine the work of surrealist photographer Lee Miller. The result was Hot Mirror, an exhibition that brought together Sassen’s photographs and collages in what Sassen described as 'image-poems', tracing surrealist influences in her own work. For the Amsterdam iteration of the project, Stevenson presents a small selection of these works, marking the artist’s first gallery show in the city since 2011.

The exhibition opens on Wednesday 18 September, 5 - 8pm.

Hours are Saturday 12 to 6pm, and by appointment.
